The penser joch ist a really good base camp for tours.

You have several possibilities for tours. 

Driving to the north you reach after 18 km sterzing and if you drive to the south 
you reach after 50 km bozen.

The road on the north have a lot of curves. In the first part you drive through the forest
near the penser joch it goes straight on (see picture).

To the south you drive trough the sarnvalley, along meadows and nice villages. This road
is very good for "cruising".
